Icy road leads to Bluffton traffic accident

A traffic accident involving a semi-trailer closed the Bluffton Road for eight hours on Friday.

Shortly after 7:00 a.m. Friday 27-tear-old Corbett Grimstad of Waukon was travelling north on Bluffton Road when he slowed down because he saw someone walking along side of the road, waving a flashlight.  When Grimstad hit the brakes, his semi skidded into the west ditch.

Because Grimstad was wearing a seat belt, he was not injured.  The accident took eight hours to clear.
