Luther College gets grant from Thrivent

Luther College has received a $19,500 grant from the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Foundation to enable the college to conduct a series of "listening post" focus groups meetings in cities throughout the United States.

The meetings will allow Luther to gather firsthand feedback from key donors, in order to aid future fundraising.

Said Luther vice president for development Keith Christensen, "As we conclude the Sesquicentennial Fund and prepare for the upcoming presidential transition, the listening posts funded by the Thrivent grant will provide an excellent opportunity to glean firsthand feedback from alumni, parents and friends around the country."
