Decorah Mayor Don Arendt outlines goals for 2013

Decorah Mayor Don Arendt has outlined his goals for city government for 2013.

Arendt wants the city council to continue to look into hiring either a part-time or full-time building inspector.  He also wants the city council to seriously consider annexations to the city's boundaries.  Arendt wants the city council to continue its work on governmental efficiency, including energy-saving, and is telling city council members to keep the proposed Park-Rec Wellness Center on the table.

City council members will meet Thursday, January 17th, at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall for a goal-setting session for 2013.
