County supervisors are assigned board and committee roles

Winneshiek County supervisors have agreed on their committee and board appointments for 2013.  

County Board Chairman John Logsdon will serve on 11 boards, including Winneshiek County Recycling and Wellington Place.  New supervisor Floyd Ashbacher has received eight board appointments, including the Human Services Commission and the Solid Waste Agency Board.  Fellow newcomer Dean Thompson will serve on 11 boards, including Spectrum Industries and Northland Agency on Aging.  First District supervisor Dennis Karlsbroten will serve on ten boards, including the Board of Health and Upper Explorerland Regional Planning.  Finally, new supervisor Mark Kuhn will have ten board assignments, including the RC & D Committee and the REAP Committee.
