Luther student to change his plea on attempted burglary charges

Luther College student Daniel Mendoza has decided to change his plea to charges of attempted burglary in the second degree.

Decorah Police arrested Mendoza in October after reciving several calls from Fifth Avenue residents who had seen someone trying to break into two homes and was also spotted jumping on the hood of a moving car.

A hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 15th at 9:00 a.m.for Mendoza to change his plea to the two criminal charges filed against him.
