Hill will be posted with "No Sledding" signs

Cyndi e-mails Mr. Answer Person: "Since the city cannot insure the sledding hill it created, will there be signs in regards to liability or barricades put in place to keep people from sledding?"

Mr. Answer Person says, "As you can see from this picture taken last week, sledders have been using the hill next to Will Baker Park--whether the City of Decorah has insurance or not.

But City Administrator Chad Bird says the city will post a sign saying "no sledding". The sign should go up as soon as it arrives.

Notes Bird, "The sign is one that we use in all our parks that also notes warnings for steep slope, loose rock, cliffs, stay on trail, etc."
