Alum and Booster Club purchase new wrestling mat for DHS

The Decorah High School Wrestling team not only is wrestling its meets in the new Decorah High School Gym, they are using a new wrestling mat.
 
The mat was purchased with a donation from 1971 Decorah High School graduate Fritz Bruening as well as from funds from the Decorah Viking Athletic Booster Club.  
 
"We greatly appreciate the support of Fritz Bruening to help with the
purchase of this new mat," said Decorah HS Activities Director Adam Riley. "This is the second mat that he has purchased for the wrestling program. Both mats have served the practice and competition needs of not only the
high school program, but the youth programs as well."
