Meth lab busted

The Northeast Iowa Drug Task Force with assistance from the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department seized a meth lab early Thursday morning and disposed of it.

The meth lab was located by an off-duty police officer in a wooded area "south of Decorah."

No arrests have been announced as of yet in connection with the meth lab.

The Sheriff's Department is reminding the public to report any suspected methamphetamine-related activities or suspected labs to local police.
