Ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for Short Street Project

Ceremonies will be held next Thursday, December 20th, for the grand opening of the newly reconstructed Short Street.

A ribbon cutting will be held at 4:00 p.m. to officially open the new Short Street. The ribbon cutting will take place at the intersection of Sanford Street and Short Street.

Following the ribbon cutting, luminaries will line Short Street from Sanford Street all the way to the Highway 9 intersection.

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce has helped to plan an evening of events.  Santa Claus will be at Culver's from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Carolers from New Minowa Players will be signing in the Latham Furniture Plaza.
