New gynecologist will start working at Winneshiek Medical Center in July

Winneshiek Medical Center will add a full time Mayo Clinic Health System gynecologist, Dr. Randall Bremner, in July.

Dr. Bremner will come to Decorah following a 24-year career at Covenant Clinic in Cedar Falls.  Hewill provide gynecologic care and surgery for women of all ages, including addressing infertility concerns, alternatives to hysterectomy, bladder issues, and menopause care.

Dr. Bremner earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa and his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine.  He completed his OB/GYN residency at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Bremner will be the tenth surgeon on the Active Medical Staff at Winneshiek Medical Center, a team that is made up of eight Mayo Clinic Health System general and specialty surgeons and two Gundersen Lutheran general surgeons.
