Otte to retire from RSVP program

Northeast Iowa RSVP Volunteer program volunteer coordinator Lyle Otte has announced his retirement.

A retirement open house will be held for Otte from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Thursday in the lower level of the Decorah Library. 

RSVP Volunteer Program Director Kathy Barloon says the program will miss Otte's friendly smile and positive outlook, "Since beginning his position, he has worked with great enthusiasm and respect for the 464 volunteers who have given 152,962 hours of their time to help make Northeast Iowa a great place to live."
