Several openings exist on city committees

Decorah Mayor Don Arendft has announced the City is looking for candidates to fill positions on several city boards and commissions.

There are currently six vacancies that need to be filled--one each on the Board of Adjustment, Airport Commission, Tree Committee and Historic Preservation Commission and two vacancies starting in February on the Human Rights Commission.

The City of Decorah is making every effort to comply with state rules on gender equity on boards and commissions, says Arendt.
