Decorah woman killed in Bremer County crash

Bremer County Sheriff's Deputies say a Decorah woman was killed in single-vehicle accident in on Tuesday morning.

37-year-old Kerry Ann Nelson of Decorah was a passenger in a car driven by 19-year-old Samuel Franzen of Elberon.  When Franzen lost control of his car on County V-56, it went into a ditch, ejecting Nelson from the car.

Another passenger, 18-year-old Justin Langreck of Fort Atkinson, was also ejected from the car and is listed in critical but stable condition at Allen Hospital in Waterloo.
