County Health Department has run out of flu vaccine

The Winneshiek County Public Health Department has announced it has run out of flu vaccine for the general public.  Health nurses say their department is not expecting to receive any more vaccine at this time.

However, there still is vaccine available at the local medical clinics in Winneshiek County and local pharmacies as well.  County health officials are urging the public to go there to receive their vaccination, saying "prevention is the best way to not get the influenza."
