DNR officials asking for the public's help in catching a hunter who shot at deer—and hit a plate glass window

DNR game wardens are asking for the public's help in an investigation into an incident in which someone driving a white pickup truck shot at a herd of deer—and hit a window on the house at 2950 155th Avenue instead.

The incident happened around 4:40 p.m. Sunday.  A woman was home inside the house, but was not injured when the window shattered.

DNR officials are asking the public for any information they might have about either the incident or similar incidents.  You can contact the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department with any information.
