"NO MO' HO HO'S"

The bankruptcy of Hostess Brands has resulted in the closing of the company's Decorah outlet store.

Hostess Brands has announced it is winding down all its operations, closing not just 570 outlet stores, but also 33 bakeries, 565 distribution centers, and approximately 5,500 delivery routes.

Overall, 18,500 people are losing their jobs.  A statement on the Hostess Brands website says the company intends to retain approximately 3,200 employees to assist with the first 16 weeks of the wind down.  Around 1,000 employees will be kept on staff for around a year to complete the entire shut down.
