Decorah Rotary Club representatives  Elliott Christian, John Baker, Jeff Roverud, Jim Morrow and Tracy Kruse recently distributed the dictionaries to excited

"This is a great learning resource for these students and we are happy bring this program to our schools," said Kruse.

This project provides for learning and organizing dictionary skills that are beneficial for all students to improve writing, comprehension and grammar. Students also learn the value of local service and what members of the community can do for one another.

The dictionary distribution is the latest project by the Decorah Rotary Club, which has also raised scholarship funds for Decorah high school seniors; provided funding for music and athletics booster clubs; raised money for local food pantries and the bike trail; and has helped the efforts to provide clean safe drinking water to the indigenous people of Bocca del Torres, Panama.
