Girls Scouts have begun collecting winter coats and other winter gear

Girl Scout of Oneota Service Unit 616 is conducting a Community Service Project to collect new or good used winter wear (coats,hats, mittens,gloves scarves, boots).

Winter gear collected will be distributed by NEICAC Family Service office to families in need.

Boxes have been set up in Decorah banks in which community members can drop off their donations.  The collection will run until Friday, December 7th.

Cash  donations or winter wear can be dropped off or sent to NEICAC's Winneshiek County Family Service office in the basement of the Smith Building (old hospital) in Decorah.
