"Deck the Tables" raised money for special Vesterheim program

"Deck the Tables," the centerpiece event this weekend's "Decorah—All Decked Out" event, ran Friday and Saturday at the Hotel Winneshiek, featuring 29 table settings, holiday items from local businesses and complimentary refreshments and treats.

Proceeds from "Deck the Tables" will benefit the 2013 exhibition "The World of Jan Brett" at Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum. The three-month-long exhibition includes a community presentation and book signing by the popular children's author Jan Brett.
