Short Street construction project begins an important phase

The Short Street construction project will head into an important new phase on Monday.  Project engineers and contractors are preparing to shift traffic over to the newly constructed concrete lanes along the south side of Short Street.  Work will then begin on coring out the north lanes and forming up that section for the final major concrete pour.

Crews will also start to patch up smaller asphalt areas along the construction corridor and begin to wrap up all asphalt work for the season.  Dust control and seeding / mulching will also be major tasks for the week.
