Do Northeast Iowa residents have adequate means of transportation to get to work?
That's the question being studied by the "Northeast Iowa Mobility Solutions Team," a team of local economic development, transportation and employment specialists selected to conduct a survey about employment transportation in Northeast Iowa.
The goal of the program is to ensure that transportation is always the link and never the barrier to employment.
Team members have prepared a brief survey and are asking for the public to help by filling it out. The team is seeking responses from employees, employers and job seekers who live or work in Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Howard or Winneshiek County.
The brief survey can be accessed at: http://bitly.com/SsuEQ5. and is completely anonymous. The survey will be open until November 18th. For those unable to access the survey electronically, it can be obtained in paper form by contacting Karn Pankow, Operations/Mobility Manager at Northeast Iowa Community Action at (866) 382-4259
