Norby Farm Fleet awards scholarship to future NICC Calmar student

Nicole Massman of Ossian has received a scholarship from the Norby Distributing Company to support her Agriculture Business studies at NICC Calmar.

The Norby Distributing Company scholarship support students with career goals in agriculture who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend college and earn a degree. The company, which operates six Norby's Farm Fleet stores within the NICC district, is awarding four $500 scholarships to students annually. This year the scholarships were awarded from the Norby's stores located in Decorah, Elkader, Manchester and West Union.

Massman is a 2012 North Fayette High School graduate who participated in athletics, Spanish Club, Peer Helpers and FFA. She served as class vice president on Student Council, chair of the Ag Awareness Committee and as a member on the Financial and Health Lifestyles committees.
