Sorority's pie sale fundraiser will benefit area family

Alpha Sigma Sorority has begun its annual pie sale and turkey dinner raffle fundraiser. 

Money raised from this year's event will benefit the Christopher and Julie Wilkins family.  Twins Savannah and Trinity were born 15 weeks early this September.  The twins are currently being treated in the NICU at Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse and are expected to remain in the hospital until late December.

The sorority will be selling pumpkin pies for $7.00 each and pecan pies for $9.00 each.  Pies may be ordered through Friday, November 9th, by
calling Misty at (563) 379-4476 or Julie at (515) 205-0350.  Cash donations for the Wilkins family are also being accepted.  Pies can be picked up at the Decorah Lutheran Church from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21st.

When you purchase a pie you will automatically be entered in a drawing for a full turkey dinner.  Three winners will receive all the groceries needed.  The drawings for the turkey dinners will be held Tuesday, November 13th.  Winners will be notified.
