Decorah Park-Rec Board closes Dug Road to horses

Horse riders will no longer be allowed to use the Dug Road Trail in Decorah.

The Decorah Park-Rec Board has agreed to close Dug Road to horse traffic because there is now too much other traffic, including pedestrians, runners and bike riders.  Horse riders are being urged to use the Decorah Prairie property if they need to go from the campground to downtown Decorah.
