County board approves Frankville water project

Winneshiek County supervisors voted unanimously on Monday morning to establish a water district in Frankville..

Supervisors took the action after meeting with County Attorney Andy Van Der Maaten to get answers to several legal questions raised last Monday during a public hearing on the project.

After approving the establishment of the water district, supervisors scheduled another public hearing--this one in Frankville at 7:00 p.m. MOnday, NOvember 5th.  Frankville residents will elect members of the water district board that time and will discuss board by laws.
