North Winneshiek is preparing for a site visit by state officials

The North Winneshiek School District will be visited by officials of the Iowa Department of Education on November 1st.

The site visit is conducted every five years by state officials.  Its purpose is to make sure the school district is in compliance with state and federal laws.
 
Also on Monday night, the North Winneshiek School Board agreed to submit a bill to Mabel-Canton School for costs associated with the shuttle bus from the North Winneshiek School to the Mabel-Canton High School and back again.  The shuttle transports students in grades 9-12 who are a part of the sharing agreement with Mabel-Canton.
