Olejniczaks donate special baseball bat to Celebration of Life auction

Winneshiek County Celebration of Life will auction two items of interest to Minnesota Twins fans next Monday night, October 8th, at the Decorah Elks Club.

Dennis and Paula Olejniczak have donated a wooden "Tony Oliva" Louisville Slugger bat.  Denny says the bat is one of a handful of surviving DHS team bats from the early 1970's.  Coach O is the 2nd most winning coach in United States high school baseball history.
 
The bat will be packaged with a framed print showing the most celebrated Minnesota Twins players in the team's history.  The picture is signed by Twins All-Star Tony Oliva and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
