The Decorah Police Department is reminding drivers that they need to yield to pedestrians who are in marked crosswalks.
Police say they have received complaints about motorists not yielding to pedestrians during school hours. They are reminding motorists that if a pedestrian is at a marked crosswalk, stopped and waiting, the motorist is required by law to yield to the pedestrains and allow them to walk across the street.
Decorah Police say you should call them at 382-3667 if you have any questions.
