Tickets now on sale for DHS Orchestra's Harvest Moon Dinner

Tickets go on sale Monday for the annual Harvest Moon Dinner presented by the Decorah High School Orchestra under the direction of Nicole Cody.  This event will be held Sunday, October 14th in the Steyer Opera House at the Hotel Winneshiek.  To accommodate the demand for tickets, two seatings will be offered – one at 1:00 p.m. and another at 6:00 p.m.

The event includes a meal from the Hotel Winneshiek and music from the Decorah HS Orchestra.  All orchestra students are involved, either as performing musicians or as servers.  The staff of Hotel Winneshiek prepares an elegant meal and instructs the students in how to serve the guests.  Students are rehearsing such favorites as "Moon River" and "Shine on Harvest Moon."

Ticket are $20 each and must be purchased in advance at the Hotel Winneshiek or at the Decorah High School office.  The deadline for buying tickets is Thursday, October 11th.  Parties purchasing a group of eight tickets may reserve a table.  The public is invited to attend.
