Girl Scouts complete project at Aase Haugen

Four Decorah Girl Scouts from Troop 211-- Courtney Olson, Hannah Klotzbach, Katie Dehning and Sabrina Knapp—have been working towards their Silver Award by volunteering their time at Aase Haugen Home.

The Silver Award is the highest honor that a Cadette Scout can earn. In order to complete the award, a Girl Scout must do a community project that makes positive changes in the community.

For their project the four girls planted flowers at Aase Haugen and watered and weeded the flowers they had planted.  Each girl put in 50 hours of their own time towards this project.
