Four Luther College students present research papers at communications conference

Four Luther College students presented research papers at the 2012 Iowa Communication Association Conference last week at the Des Moines Area Community College, Ankeny Campus.

Junior Rachel Woolsey and seniors Samantha Shimak, Cassandra Chalhoub and Jena Schwake had their papers chosen for presentation at the conference, which had the theme of "Digital Directions: Communicating and Learning in the 21st Century."
 
All four students wrote research papers during the 2012 spring semester in Luther professor Kim Powell's Communications Research Methods class.  Powell accompanied the group and also took part in a roundtable session during the conference.
