Loop de Loop race attracts over 300 runners

The first annual Loop de Loop half marathon and 5k run and walk on Saturday morning attracted over 300 registrants.

The event was staged by the Decorah Rotary Club as part of the Trout Run Trail dedication weekend. 

Mark Heffernen of Palo, Iowa won the 5k race, while Drew Burmahl from Brandon, Iowa won the half marathon.  Complete results are available at http://www.pigmantri.com/jmsracing/results12/loop12.html
