Historical Society, Genealogical Society to meet Monday

Decorah residents Elizabeth and Lance Lorentzen recently visited Shiloh National Military Park and Cemetery.  Elizabeth will give a presentation Monday night about her impressions of what she saw and learned about the Battle of Shiloh and the Winneshiek County men who fought there.

The Decorah Genealogy Association and Winneshiek County Historical Society are hosting Monday night's program at 7:00 p.m. at the Decorah Public Library.  The presentation will include the showing of the video "Shiloh: Fiery Trial."  Lorentzen will also talk about Winneshiek County and
Iowa connections to the Battle of Shiloh.

The meeting is free and open to the general public.
