Public hearing will be held on formation of the Frankville Water District

Winneshiek County supervisors have scheduled a public hearing for 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 8th, on plans to create the Frankville rural water district.
The Winneshiek County Board on Monday accepted a petition from Frankville residents who favor creating the district. Money will be borrowed from the Iowa DNR Revovling Loan Fund to pay for the costs of creating the water district. Fees from water bills will pay back the loan.
