Gundersen Lutheran Health Plan receives permission to sell Senior Preferred Medicare Advantage Plan in MInnesota

Gundersen Lutheran Health Plan has received approval from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to sell Senior Preferred Medicare Advantage Plans in Gundersen Lutheran's service area in southeast Minnesota, including Houston and Fillmore counties.

GLHP officials say they will be enrolling Minnesota residents for the first time during the annual open enrollment period starting in October.  Coverage begins January 1st.

Gundersen Lutheran Health Plan officials are also planning to hold free informational seminars in Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin about the Senior Preferred Medicare Advantage plans.
