North Winneshiek School Board elects officers for the new school year

Brenda Kreitzer has been elected president and Ben Lange vice president of the North Winneshiek School Board for the 2012-2013 school year.  The action was taken at Monday night's school board meeting.
 
North Winn School Board members also appointed Myron Rediske to the Winneshiek County Conference Board; Ben Lange as an Iowa Association of School Board delegate; and Phil Richert as the Legislative Action Network Representative.
 
The board approved Wendy Twait as the district's secretary/treasurer; and three law firms to handle the district's legal matters--Ahlers and Cooney, P.C., Des Moines; Gruhn Law Firm, Cedar Rapids; and Lance Lorentzen, Decorah.  The board also approved Decorah Bank and Trust and Viking State Bank and Trust as depository banks for the school district.
