Winneshiek Medical Center had 25 more admissions and seven more baby births in July than in June, but the hospital still ended up with an operating loss for the month.
WMC reported total patient revenues of $5.9 million dollars. But it wrote off $2.3 million of those revenues and also had $3.6 million in expenses. The result was an operating loss of $39,139. $65,212 in non operating revenues resulted in a net gain of $26,073 for the month.
