Kate Scott of Decorah has been named the new Director of the Oneota Film Festival.
Scott is currently the sales coordinator for the local farmers group "Grown Locally." She also serves as a board member for the Winneshiek Farmer's Market. She will assume the responsibilities of Oneota Film Festival director in addition to her role with Grown Locally. Scott previously has worked as volunteer coordinator for the Oneota Film Festival.
"I greatly enjoyed my experiences as a participant and volunteer in past years and am looking forward to joining in this new role," said Scott. "I want to continue to build on the past success of the film festival and keep this a strong, interesting and fun regional event." she added.
The Oneota Film Festival will be held January 18th, 19th and 20th.
