Two appointed to panel on science, technology, engineering and math

Two Winneshiek County residents have been appointed to the Northeast Iowa Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Advisory Council.

John Hjell of Decorah and Wendy Mihm-Herold of Fort Atkinson will serve on the council.  Northeast Iowa STEM is a public-private partnership to boost student achievement in science, technology, engineering and math education and promote economic development.

The Northeast Iowa STEM advisory council is one of six regional networks in the state.
