Decorah Swimming Pool begins end of season hours Thursday

Starting Thursday, the Decorah Municipal Swimming Pool will have special hours.

The swimming pool originally planned to close for the season on Wednesday, but has announced it will extend its season through Sunday, August 26th with these special hours:

On Thursday and Friday, August 16th and 17th the pool will be open from 6:45 a.m. until 7:45 a.m. for adult lap swim; from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. for adult aquacise and from noon until 1:00 p.m. for adult lap and aquacise.

On Saturday and Sunday, August 18th and 19th, the pool will be open from noon until 1:00 pm for adult lap swim, then from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for open swim.
 
Monday through Friday of next week, August 20th to 24th, the pool will be open each day from 6:45 a.m. until 7:45 a.m. for adult lap swim; from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. for adult aquacise and from noon until 1:00 p.m. for adult lap and aquacise.

Next Saturday, August 25th, the final day of swimming will see the pool be open from noon until 1:00 pm for adult lap swim, then from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for open swim.

Finally, next Sunday, August 26th, the pool will hold its annual Dog Swim from noon until 3:00 p.m.
