Winneshiek County Historical Preservation Commission is seeking pictures of old schools

The Winneshiek County Historic Preservation Commission is looking for historic photos of five schools in Highland Township.

The group has done some archeological testing at rural school sites.  It would like some historic photos of the schools to use in their report.

The schools the Historic Preservation Commission is interested in at this time are as follows:

Highland #1 (aka Roosevelt or Bakken)
Highland #2 (aka Rock Springs or Kjome)
Highland #3 (aka Grindeland)
Highland #4 (aka Exey)
Highland #5 (aka Saquitne)
