An exhibit on the history of blindness in Iowa is on display at the Decorah Public Library through September 7th.
Highlighting daily experiences and historical achievements through personal histories and photographs, the exhibit will teach visitors about a unique part of Iowa's history.
At 2:00 p.m. August 21st, a free presentation will be given by Iowa Department for the Blind representative Meredith Ferguson about the oral history project and traveling exhibit.
Sponsored by the Iowa Department for the Blind, the exhibit is traveling to public libraries across Iowa, with each library hosting the exhibit for one month.
