Decorah church tries evening hours for Vacation Bible School

Posted: Mon, Aug 6, 2012 7:02 PM

There's something different this year about the Vacation Bible School at the Decorah United Methodist Church--evening hours.

Each evening between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. this week there will be a light supper provided with meal coordinators Jean Carter and Pam Ransom.  That will be followed by the "Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep with God" Vacation Bible School.

Tina Shedinger and Steph Folkedahl, the Education Coordinators at the church, are also the VBS directors.  Story tellers are Kathi Mitchell and Vel Luse.  Chief Diver is Steve Luse.  Recreation is lead by Guy Nave, and Arts and Crafts by Janis Mineart.  Jeff Leschensky will serve as Audio Visual Technician.

There are registration openings for any child of school age.  Anyone in the community is welcome.  For more information call 382-3835.
