Winneshiek County Relay for Life brings in almost $43,000 for cancer research

The American Cancer Society has released final fundraising figures for this year's Relay for Life for Winneshiek County.  The June 9th event raised over $42,800, which far surpassed this year's fundraising goal of $35,347.
The donations raised by the local Relay for Life will support the American Cancer Society's mission of saving lives from cancer.  More than 130 people in Winneshiek County alone will face a cancer diagnosis this year.
