Gundersen Clinic Decorah says scam phone calls to its offices appear to have ended

Scam phone calls to the Gundersen Lutheran � Decorah Clinic seem to have subsided, according to clinic officials.

Last week the phone system at the Gundersen Lutheran � Decorah Clinic was disrupted by a phone scam in which numerous, continuous calls to the clinic prevented the majority of incoming calls from patients from being connected.

Several steps were taken to block the calls.  The calls did not resume on Friday or Monday, so Gundersen officials say patients should be able to get through to the clinic on the clinic's direct phone number, (563) 382-3140.  If you experience difficulties getting through, you may call the toll-free number at Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse at (800) 362-9567, and the operator will connect you to Decorah.
