Iowa State University Extension will hold a "Dealing with Drought" meeting in Cresco next week on Thursday, August 2nd.
The session will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Heritage Events Center in Cresco. There is no charge to attend either meeting, but the public is encouraged to RSVP by July 31st.
Terry Basol will discuss crops and pest management issues; Russ Euken will discuss livestock management drought related issues; Jennifer Bentley will discuss managing drought corn silage and nitrate toxicity; and William Edwards and Kristen Schulte will discuss crop insurance and will handle questions and answers.
