Sunday assault results in hospitalization and arrest

Decorah Police responded to call regarding a fight at Decorah Mart early Sunday morning. When they arrived they found Abdikani Aden unconscious in the parking lot. Aden, from South Sioux City, Nebraska, was taken to Winneshiek Medical Center and later transferred via ambulance to Rochester.

Security camera footage identified the alleged assailant as Raymond Delagarza, 28, of Decorah. He was later taken into custody and charged with assault.
