Storm on Wednesday afternoon dumps over one inch of rain, causes some damage

Thunderstorms rumbled through Decorah on Wednesday afternoon.

The National Weather Service Office in La Crosse says Decorah officially received 1.52 inches of rain, while Bluffton had 1.50 inches.  Other rainfall totals included  2.07 inches of rain in Dorchester and 1.75 inches of rain in Monona.

Hail was reported in Ridgeway.  There were power outages and downed trees throughout Northeast Iowa.
