10 summer interns from the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation are heading their way to northeast Iowa.

The students will spend three weeks working on the land that belongs to private landowners, but is part of the INHF program.

A variety of conservation efforts are planned, including removing eastern red cedar trees from prairies, thinning oak woodlands and controlling wild parsnip.
