School Board discusses Shareholder activity

Superintendent Mike Haluska advised the Decorah Community School Board Monday night regarding the past year activities of the Shareholders Group. They met three times and reviewed school district data, discussed the issues of one to one computing in the schools, and then toured the high school renovation project. Haluska said the tour was an important activity for the group since they were so instrumental in promoting the recent high school bond referendum.

Haluska anticipates they will meet four times this year. He also heard suggestions on how attendance might be better encouraged.
